He Love the Fall

We've ended up having a beautiful fall in Indiana so Xavier has gotten lots of walks through the leaves and pumpkin picking. He's had lots of jolly jumping time outside as well as just rolling around on a blanket.
We're finishing up the orange and yellow vegetables. He is not a fan of the pumpkin, but loves butter nut and acorn squash. He did ok with the carrots as long as there was plenty of cereal mixed in. If there was no cereal mixed in the results can be seen in the pictures below. We've also figured out how to use the sippy cup of water as a reward/bait and switch maneuver to get him to eat something he doesn't like.
Yesterday began the sweet potatoes. The boy can't get enough. With or without cereal mixed in he wants them and devours them. Next come the green beans. He has mastered the sippy cup. Tonight I put the stopper in it and he's sucking away and drinking as much water as possible. He had started making sour/kissey faces and sucking sounds so I figured it was time to try the cup with the stopper. He got it right away.
He is still loving the jolly jumper. He's can now swing himself in it and can get himself higher and higher. He also can reach the dining room chairs in the jumpers so they have to be pushed in or he'll try to pull them over.
Xavier turns into a tiger quite often now. He'll let out a very deep growl. Not grunting but growling. It's hilarious and he's very proud of it. He's now fully sitting up on his own. He only tips over when he's ready to be on his tummy so he can army crawl and roll to get where he wants to.
We had a great weekend this past weekend with pumpkin picking and carving and just generally being outside in this amazing weather. He had fun picking pumpkins, or rather sitting on them and drooling. He does a lot of that these days. We have "teething" days, which means lots of drool and some Motrin at night. Sue and Rodolfo think they can feel a tooth, I personally can't but that doesn't mean he isn't working on one.
It's late and that's all for now. Enjoy the pictures.

Fall Fun
