2 Months Old

This is my third attempt to write this blog entry. Xavier keeps waking up and something about wanting to be fed. Our little guy is 2 months old, as of yesterday. He's growing so quickly. I swear the other night when he snuggled on my chest he fit perfectly and then in the morning he went past my waist. I don't dare guess how much he weighs.

He's smiling and laughing all the time now. Our favorite time to laugh and smile and talk is in the morning. The changing pad is still his favorite place to yuk it up. He raised one eyebrow the other day and thought it was hilarious. He's become a more efficient eater and eats more so he can go a bit longer than 2 hours between feedings which is nice for me. He's becoming more of an oral little baby so we're working on him taking a pacifier. He does pretty well with it. We haven't had to use it to put him to sleep, thankfully. He's amazing when it comes to bed. He can be wide awake and talking and smiling, but as soon as the lights go out and I start to feed him he settles down and is asleep as soon as he's done eating. The pacifier is very helpful when he's over tired and needs to settle down during the day.

He's had lots of adventures since we've last blogged. I got a car and it seems like we've been on the go ever since. So I'm glad we've needed to loan out the car this week so it's kept us home.

He took his first trip to the zoo. We went with Jen, Hannah and Isiah. Granted he couldn't really see much and slept most of the time we still had fun. Here's are some pictures from our trip.

My Denison girlfriends were in town for the weekend. Since we're all married we actually have to plan to see each other. It was a great weekend and he did sooooo well spending two nights in a hotel room. He got lots of attention from the ladies that weekend! I got a night out with the girls while Xavier, Daddy and Gabriella went and spent some time with Rodolfo's family. Xavier got to meet more cousins and his great aunt and uncle. He and Papi, Rodolfo's uncle, have such a great time together. We also spent the following Monday with them.

Most mornings we cuddle in bed and I take pictures of Xavier to email Rodolfo at work. I take them on my phone so they're not the best quality all the time. But here are Daddy's pictures:
