Xavier's 1st Christmas was fun. Santa brought him a stocking with stacking rings, a play mat and stacking blocks. His favorite present came from Nana and Grandpas....bongos. He loves them. He will whine at you if you have them and you walk by him without letting him play with them. They're perfect and compact enough to fit in the diaper bag so they go everywhere with us.

He loved all the lights and pretty things to look at during the holidays. It took him a bit but he did get into tearing open presents. Christmas day is spent at Nana and Grandpa. It was great day and he and Hannah had some very sweet play time together. Christmas 2 with the rest of the cousins was the next day and he got to play with his cousin Julianna. Christmas 3 was up in Logansport with my aunt, uncle and cousins. They are putting the Logansport house on the market this spring so we had one last Christmas up there. That includes our tradition of taking a walk through the cemetery....it's really a park to us. It was snowing so Xavier didn't make the trek.

New Year's Eve was spent at Aunt Jen and Uncle Tom's. Xavier tried meatballs that night and loved them! He was our rock star baby and rang in the New Year with us.
We thought Xavier would be crawling by Christmas. We were off by 4 days. He took his first creeps on December 29th and it's been a green light life ever since. It took him about a day to figure it all out and now he's everywhere and our lives haven't been the same. His favorite place to crawl is to the cat food. In the blink of an eye he pulled a 25 lb container of cat food over on himself. I would have gotten a picture but I was more concerned about him eating the food. He was very proud of himself. He is starting to figure out the house is bigger than just the sun room. We've baby proofed most of the house and will be finishing up this weekend.
On January 3rd Xavier turned 9 months. He weighs 21lbs and is 30" long. Length wise he's into 12 month old pants and pjs. We celebrated his 9 month birthday by giving him his first haircut. After much discussion about who would do it we decided to do it ourselves. I used the scissors my mom cut my hair with for 21 years. He was really great the whole time. He sat on Daddy's lap and I cut.
